The Times They Are A Changing

O Deuce Reunions

It is with sadness, yet a grateful and honoring heart that we have to bring you this notice.

Our 2026 Reunion will be our Swan Song.

We have tried to raise the interest of the younger Troopers to get involved. At this time our efforts have crumbled.

We will maintain our website for as long as possible.

We are all reaching the 80 yr. old mark and the effort to give You the Reunion you greatly deserve is becoming more difficult.

We will continue to attend the 101st assn. Reunions on the Even Years (ie: 28, 30, 32) We will no longer hold our own Registration and Lunch.

For the past 22 yrs. we have been proud and honored to serve You. We are not going away or riding off into the sunset. We will continue to keep you as informed as we can.

We will also be supportive of the 101st Assn. in any means that we can. We will also go to Fort Campball and visit/support our Active Duty Troops. As we have stated, It has been our Honor to Serve You.

O Deuce Web Page

At the 2006 Atlanta Reunion, Dale asked for a volunteer to take over the O Deuce web page. I knew the moment I heard him that this was something I really wanted to do. Like Dale, I have felt honored in the years since then to be entrusted with this part of maintaining our Strike Force Vietnam brother community.

We had been hoping that we could find Troopers in the younger generations to take over our roles - to provide the reunions and update and expand our web presence to include later generations. Despite some hopeful moments, that has so far not come to pass.

So far, I have not had any health events that would prevent me from continuing to maintain our web page. I intend to maintain it for as long as it is possible.
